Communityhood

Communityhood can be defined as the state where an oppressed people develop and maintain cohesive bonds through social solidarity. These social bonds transcend class, individual worldview, sex, and any other marker used to engender disunity. In short, communityhood is indicative of a collective kinship, a systematic organization of neighborhoods, social groups (including street gangs), individuals, and businesses all linked together through a common interest.
